Trust & Safety

What "Reviewed by YatHub" actually means

We are honest about what we can and cannot verify. Every listing is screened by our team — but we are not a physical inspection service, and we do not hold payment. Here is exactly what we do and do not do.

Our Review Process

How a listing earns the YatHub screen

Submission review

Every new listing is reviewed by our team before going live. We check that dimensions, photos, access notes, and pricing are complete and consistent.

Owner identity check

We contact each listing owner directly to confirm identity, property access rights, and contact details before publishing.

Ongoing quality signals

After a listing goes live, renter feedback, complaint history, and communication patterns are factored into whether a listing stays published.

Removal policy

Listings that generate unresolved complaints, fail re-review, or whose owners stop responding are taken offline. We would rather have fewer listings than misleading ones.

Honest about our scope

What we do

  • Screen all submissions before publishing
  • Confirm owner identity and property access
  • Review listing photos, specs, and access notes for accuracy
  • Respond to complaints and investigate disputes
  • Remove listings that fail re-review or generate valid complaints
  • Provide a direct channel to reach our team for any issue

What we don't do

  • Physically inspect every dock before listing
  • Guarantee dock owner response times
  • Hold funds in escrow between renter and owner
  • Insure or indemnify dock damage or vessel damage
  • Guarantee that a dock will be available on a specific date

Important: YatHub is a connection platform, not a payment processor

YatHub connects boaters with dock owners directly. Payments, deposits, and rental agreements happen between the boater and dock owner — YatHub does not hold funds, process transactions, or issue refunds for dock stays. We strongly recommend that both parties document agreed terms in writing before money changes hands. If you experience a serious issue, contact us and we will investigate whether the listing should remain published.

Had a Problem?

Report an issue with a listing

If a dock was misrepresented, an owner was unresponsive, or something was unsafe — tell us. Complaints directly inform whether a listing stays on the platform.
