• Account information: name, email address, phone number, company or vessel name, account type, and password (stored securely and never readable by us)
• Vessel profile: length overall (LOA), beam, draft, shore power requirements, liveaboard status, tender status, and preferred docking area and dates
• Dock listing data (for dock owners): dock address, dimensions, amenities, pricing, photos, and legal documents
• Inquiry and communication data: messages, booking requests, and correspondence with dock owners or YatHub staff
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, timestamps, and IP addresses
• Crew and employment data: work history, certifications, qualifications, and job application content

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account and dashboard
• Match your vessel to suitable private docks based on your vessel profile
• Facilitate inquiries and bookings between renters and dock owners
• Send transactional emails (confirmations, replies, notifications)
• Contact you about your account, listings, or service requests
• Provide customer support and respond to questions
• Improve our platform and prevent fraud or misuse
• Comply with applicable law

3. Sharing Your Information

We share your information only as necessary to operate the platform:

• Dock owners: When you submit an inquiry, your name, contact information, and vessel details are shared with the dock owner so they can respond.
• Infrastructure providers: We use Supabase (database and authentication) and Resend (transactional email). These providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements and do not use your data for their own purposes.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account and profile data for as long as your account is active. Inquiry and lead records are retained for business and legal purposes. You may request deletion at any time.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), server-side authentication via Supabase, and row-level access controls on all stored data. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@foxstays.com. We will respond within 30 days. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA.

7. Children

YatHub is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please contact privacy@foxstays.com and we will delete it.
